Protein Mix is a 100% pure protein feed. It contains 65% protein by weight and is a complete protein source. These proteins help to prevent muscle breakdown and provide glycogen reserves during training and flights. At the same time, these proteins are a major source of essential amino acids and saturated chain amino acids such as valine, leucine and isoleucine. These amino acids are prominent in muscles, and during intense exercise, muscle cells can quickly convert these three amino acids into energy.
Essential amino acids cannot be synthesized by the body and must be supplied via the diet. Complete proteins are proteins that contain all essential amino acids. Protein Mix is a complete protein and therefore helps to provide pigeons, ornamental doves, poultry and large cage birds with all the essential amino acids they need. The protein requirement depends on the age of the birds, the season and the performances required.
