Bumblefoot infections are commonly indicated in three different levels :
Type 1: red, or notably, white tense spot on the foot pad; may be caused by a poor resting area. Treatment: apply Bumblefoot cream twice a day.
Type 2: either a very tiny wound (pinprick) that may be caused by the hind-most talon; or an obvious small infection. Treatment: clean the area with a clean tissue and apply Bumblefoot cream twice a day. Enhance treatment by administering Orni/Myco tabs or Doxycycline 6% once a day. If the condition does not improve (2-3 days), consult your vet!
Type 3: serious, swollen and either or not open inflammation of the foot pad and possibly the talons. Treatment: consult your vet!
