The intestine and the intestinal flora
The intestine has the largest surface of all organs (200-300 square meters) and a double function. On the one hand, it is responsible for the absorption of food components and their excretion. On the other hand, it holds a huge number of bacteria which stimulate the immune defense – the intestinal flora. The biggest share in the intestinal flora have lactic acid-forming lactobacilli and bifidus bacteria.
Fiber + lactic acid bacteria
Darmflora plus is a combination of the fiber inulin and four different genetically characterized cultures of lactic acid bacteria. Inulin is a natural fiber from chicory, which serves as nutrients for the lactic acid bacteria in the intestine. The contained niacin contributes to a normal intestinal mucosa and therefore, supports your well-being.
